A pair of sneakers and always the same look? That was never enough for us. While we were in college, we came up with the idea of separating the upper from the sole so we could mix and match them freely. In a garage, this evolved into the modular system from twentyfour couture. Connected by a zipper, consistently refined, and now protected by a worldwide patent. That’s how 24couture was born: a sneaker that isn’t limited to a single look, offering complete flexibility and endless possibilities.

2023
Years of trials, setbacks, and new approaches led to the moment we had been working toward: our first production-ready prototype. The upper and sole could be reliably swapped out, reconnected, and mass-produced. We succeeded in making our modular concept work. The patents were filed. 24couture was ready for the next step.

With the name “twentyfour couture,” our idea was given a name that captures the concept perfectly: 24 hours, countless looks, a modular system. Today, this name is protected worldwide. It stands for the freedom to constantly recombine uppers and soles to suit your everyday life, the occasion, and your style.

Now it was right there in front of us, in black and white: The patents for our modular system had been granted. This officially confirmed its uniqueness, and we had created something that had never existed before. At the same time, production of the molds for our soles was already underway. Drawings and prototypes were transformed into components ready for mass production. The shoe was taking on the form we had been working toward for years.

Now comes the moment we’ve been working toward for years: the first drop from twentyfour couture. Our modular system is launching, giving you the freedom to mix and match uppers and soles to suit your day and your style, time and time again.
